World Athletics Launches ‘Athletics At Home’ Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

World Athletics launched a new series on Tuesday, Athletics At Home, which was designed to help people of all ages stay fit, active and involved during this unprecedented blockade period around the world due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

The content, which will appear on the athletics agency's website and on social media channels, is divided into four themes: Kids, Active, Rewind and Unwind.

The first one, Kids, includes activities, tests, online tutorials and interviews with some of the sport's biggest stars.

The goal is to entertain and educate, providing ideas to explore and motivation to exercise.

Active highlights a series of exercises, suitable for the whole family and fans of all ages, to help maintain fitness and health at home.

Rewind is a nighttime resource that recalls the sensational athletic actions of the past. It was launched last week with daily athletics parties around the world, where several sensational finals from last year's World Athletics Championship are relived.

And for Unwind, this presents suggestions for books related to athletics for reading, movies to watch and song lists of some of your favorite athletes, including songs like Noah Lyles' pre-race songs.

To maintain speed, viewers are advised to check in regularly on the World Athletics website and on our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels.
