Trump offers no commitment to wear mask at Ford factory

At a cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump was asked if he would wear a mask when visiting the Ford Motor Company factory on Thursday.

The mask-averse president said he "didn't even think about it", adding that "where appropriate, I certainly would".

Ford officials said on Tuesday that they would insist that the president wear a mask during his visit to the factory in Ypsilanti, Michigan. At the end of the day, a company spokeswoman said Ford would move to the White House on the matter.
