Former Queens Park Rangers star Adel Taraabt says he hopes England-born Nigerian midfielder Eberechi Eze will take the London club back to the Premier League, Completesports.com reports.
Eze was impressive for Queens Park Rangers this season, which saw him linked to several Premier League teams.
The 21-year-old scored 12 goals, made eight assists in 39 games in all competitions so far this season for Mark Warburton's team.
And the 30-year-old Moroccan international, who now plays for Benfica in the Portuguese top flight, asked Eze not to lose his focus.
"I watch him and I think he has great potential," said Taarabt at www.qpr.co.uk.
"I like to see him – he is physically strong, he has a good touch, he can score goals. I see him and I hope that one day he will take QPR to the Premier League – I think he has that ability.
“My advice is to keep working and be the best for QPR, because QPR fans now recognize how good he (Eze) is. Just stay focused and try to go to the top. "
In addition to QPR, Taraabt participated in Tottenham Hotspur, Genoa and AC Milan.
