In an advisory to health professionals, state officials said 64 children in New York have been admitted to hospitals with a condition that doctors described as "pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome."

Patients between the ages of 2 and 15 were hospitalized for the last three weeks with the Covid-related syndrome. Most of them tested positive for coronavirus or had positive antibody tests.
