It has been a busy day in terms of Tottenham Hotspur news.
Focus for the players, or at least most of them, is on their international teams and playing for their countries over the next week or so.
For Mauricio Pochettino, however, he needs to get his head around the club’s plight in the Premier League and how to fix it.
He will not be helped by an outspoken Danny Rose, opening up on his future in the media.
That, and more, looking ahead to the January transfer window is here in our round-up of all the biggest stories from N17 in the past 24 hours.
Danny Rose warning
Danny Rose is never shy of an opinion.
And the left-back has been speaking his mind once again.
Footballers are often more liberal with their words when they’re on international duty and Rose has been no different.
The full-back was linked with a transfer away from Tottenham in the summer, but stayed put and he has now spoken out about his future at the club, sending a message to chairman Daniel Levy.
Players to help Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino is in need of help at Tottenham, that is for sure.
It has been a thoroughly disappointing season for the north Londoners so far and certain players have let him down.
He is not blameless, of course, but he could do with some help from the players he entrusts to go out on the pitch and perform.
Where he goes next
If Pochettino were to leave Tottenham, he would not have too many problems finding a new job, if reports are to be believed.
Pochettino is a highly regarded manager and some of the biggest clubs in world football have been looking at him in the past.
But where could he go after Spurs?
