Reliance Jio introduced a new plan offering high-speed daily data of 3 GB for 84 days at a cost of Rs 999. In this plan, users will obtain a total data of 252 GB, 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calls from Jio to Jio and Jio Non-Jio Fair Use Policy (FUP) of 3000 minutes.

The new plan joined the league of high-speed data packets of 2 GB per day and 1.5 GB per day. The 2 GB per day plan offers total data of 168 GB for 84 days at Rs 599. With the 1.5 GB plan per day, a user enjoys total data of 126 GB for 84 days at Rs 555.

Other benefits for the 2 GB and 1.5 GB packages are the same as for the Rs 999 plan.

Those who need the 3 GB high speed daily plan for a shorter period of time can recharge with Rs 349. This plan is valid for 28 days and provides total data of 84 GB, unlimited voice calls from Jio to Jio and Jio for non-Jio FUP 1000 minutes.

However, there is no long-term plan in the 3 GB package per day, as in the 2 GB and 1.5 GB plans.

Subscribers using the 2 GB package per day can reload with Rs 2,399 to take advantage of 365 days. In this plan, they receive 730 GB of total data, unlimited voice calls from Jio to Jio, FUP from Jio to non-Jio for 12,000 minutes and 100 SMS per day.

Likewise, in the 1.5 GB package, it is possible to recharge with Rs 2,121 for a long-term plan. This package offers a validity of 336 days and a total data of 504 GB. Other benefits are the same as for the 2 GB long-term plan.

Last week, Jio released new reload plans to support extra data usage at rates up to 75% lower. The company has also made annual recharge plans 33% cheaper compared to rivals, increasing the data usage limit at 4G speed to 2 GB per day.

It introduced three new “work at home” recharge plans, available in the denominations of Rs 151 (30 GB), Rs 201 (40 GB) and Rs 251 (50 GB). These three plans complement the usage once the daily limit is exhausted.
