Promasidor Nigeria Limited donated SunVita cereal to the Lagos Food Bank Initiative in support of the government's effort to provide palliative care for the vulnerable during the Covid -19 pandemic. The three truckloads of SunVita cereal were delivered to the Lagos Food Bank Initiative office as part of the company's gesture in the fight against COVID-19.
In making the presentation to the organization, the category manager at Nigeria's Dairy and Cereal Ltd, Mr. Olayinka Vincent, who delivered the donation to the organization's president, Mr. Michael Sunbola reiterated Promasidor Nigeria Limited's commitment to providing quality food products for Nigerians.
According to him: “With 2020 being a difficult year due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Promasidor is committed to supporting the government's efforts to stem the further spread of the virus, adding that, although the company initially made contributions worth more than N200 million, there are still gaps to be filled and, as a responsible company, Promasidor is ready to support the government. He also said that the SunVita cereal is produced from grains of local origin, such as soy and corn, and enriched with Nutri-V, a unique blend of vitamins and minerals that helps children become more intelligent and stronger. "
Receiving the donation, the President of the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, Michael Sunbola, assured that the Promasidor's goodwill will greatly help the vulnerable citizens of society. He said his organization works with primary health care centers to reach and care for the vulnerable in the state of Lagos. He profusely thanked Promasidor for his kindness of heart, noting that the food supplies would be well used.
