Manchester United given green light to seal Dembele deal
Manchester United have been given the seal of approval by chief executive Ed Woodward to sign Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, according to the Daily Star.
United are desperate to bolster their attacking quality in the summer, after failing to land teenage sensation Erling Haaland, who joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg, in January.
The report claims that Woodward is on a mission to sign a striker and Dembele could be just the man, with Lyon revealing that they are willing to sell some of their star assets in the summer.
Should Dembele join United, it would mark a return to Britain for him, as he previously played for Fulham and Celtic before joining Lyon back in August 2018.
Spurs plot Norwich raid
Tottenham Hotspur could launch a raid on Norwich City this summer, with manager Jose Mourinho keen on signing the Canaries’ £50m-rated centre-back Ben Godfrey.
The Express are reporting that Spurs are keen on signing the 22-year-old, who has been linked with Arsenal, alongside Max Aarons, Norwich’s star right-back.
Tottenham have watched Godfrey, who can play at both centre-back and defensive midfield, on various occasions this season and are said to be impressed.
Godfrey has racked up 19 appearances this season for the Canaries in what has proven to be a difficult campaign.
Trio eye Isco move
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are lining up moves for Real Madrid and Spain midfielder Isco, report the Mail.
Madrid are desperate to free up some funds for an ambitious move to try and sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe in the summer, and offloading Isco could contribute towards that move becoming a possibility.
It is claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and City would have to stump up £63m to land the attacking midfield star, who has been limited to just 14 La Liga appearances this season.
With Chelsea having already agreed a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech in the summer, Arsenal chief Mikel Arteta and City boss Pep Guardiola may feel they have a better chance of signing the 27-year-old.
