Police question Clarence Peters over dancer’s death

Lagos police are questioning music director and producer Clarence Peters about the death of dancer Love Divines, also known as Kodak, at his residence in Omole Phase One, The Nation learns.

Peters is being detained at the State Department of Intelligence and Criminal Investigation (SCIID), Yaba.

Nation reports that Kodak was said to be electrocuted at Peters' home in Wedneaday while she was charging her iPhone.

It was concluded that the dancer, who was barefoot and sitting near the door of the residence, was operating the connected phone when the incident happened.

According to reports, she suffered burns on her chest when the phone fell on her body and died before reaching the hospital.
