It is scheduled to launch next month, and now the PlayStation 5 the loading screen may have leaked online.
Twitter Sm1LE user shared what he claims to be the official PlayStation 5 home screen.
He tweeted a video of the launch screen, along with the caption: "A first look at the Sony PlayStation 5. It's on and charging."
The video shows the PS5 logo on a turbulent turquoise background, which changes to the Sony soon, before showing a QR code.
A mysterious console and a DualShock controller can also be seen in front of the monitor.
However, questions were raised about the validity of the console and controller, in addition to the boot screen.
The console shown in the video does not appear to be similar to the V-shaped devkit or the recently leaked X-shaped model.
Meanwhile, viewers noticed that the PS5 logo on the launch screen is slightly off-center and that the QR code doesn't seem to work.
One user replied: “Starting less than a second after the beep? Huum idk, it looks fake.
Another added: “It looks the same as the playstation 3 background. Lazy or fake? Disappointing anyway.
And one wrote: "I don't know if it's real, but when I imagined it in my head, I thought it would look like this."
The leak comes shortly after rumors shared on Reddit indicate that Sony could launch the PS5 on the same February 29.
Reddit user PennyOhms saw that Sony Hall is reserved for a & # 39; private event & # 39; at that night.
They wrote: “The rumored venue for the PS5 Sony Event was closed at the" Private Event "on Saturday, February 29th. Could that be it?
Although earlier rumors suggested an earlier release date, on February 5, fans noted that Sony did not hold any events at Sony Hall that night.
PennyOhms added: "Long after the February 5 rumor, but nothing is showing up that day."
