According to a recent Sport report, Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic rejected a Manchester United approach when he learned that Barcelona was interested in his services.
The Bosnian was at the center of a search for Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, with proposals from both clubs initially being considered. However, once the Spanish giants threw their name on the hat and a verbal agreement was reached, there was no way back.
The Red Devils hope to have a little more luck elsewhere over the next few months in the summer transfer window – if they go ahead, of course.
Pjanic's possible move to Nou Camp may become one of the most intriguing stories of the summer, but again, Juve could end it if the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc in the football world.
