The Chamber of Deputies is due to review its legislative agenda less than six months after the document is released.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila told his colleagues at the plenary on Tuesday that current events around the world called for a review of the legislative agenda.
He said that when the current agenda was prepared and made public, no one predicted development worldwide, adding that the global blockade would definitely have adverse effects on its activities, which the review said.
Hon Julius Ihonvbare, who chaired the committee that drafted the previous agenda, must head the nine-member committee to review the agenda.
