Nigeria: Moroccan Plane Makes Emergency Return to Lagos Airport

A Royal Air Maroc flight with registration quantity CN-RNQ returned to the Lagos airport Sunday morning after the pilot found that the cargo door mild flickered.

PREMIUM TIMES gathered that the pilot flying the B737-700 belonging to the airline instantly alerted the management tower after the invention, requesting to return again to the apron on the Murtala Muhammed Worldwide Airport, Lagos.

The incident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Henrietta Yakubu, the spokesperson of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, stated that officers of the aviation safety swiftly escorted the plane and returned it again to the apron.

Upon reaching the apron, all involved officers of FAAN and different companies had been on the bottom for a radical inspection, she added.

“In line with standard and recommended practices, all parties concerned supervised the offloading and the re-screening of all the luggage belonging to all passengers onboard the aircraft,” Mrs Yakubu stated.

FAAN added that every one the baggage belonging to the passengers had been intact as licensed by the workforce on the bottom earlier than the flight ultimately took-off at 10.06 Sunday morning.
