Jaguar Land Rover India has started taking reservations for the new generation of the Land Rover Defender SUV. Customers will receive deliveries from August 2020, with prices starting at Rs 69.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The iconic off-roader received an update from the ground up when it debuted worldwide at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Defender of Indian specifications will come with a single engine option. This will be the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine in its P300 cover, with powers of 300 hp and 400 Nm. This will be paired with the JLR version of the automatic eight-speed ZF.

The three-door SWB 90 and five-door LWB 110 will be offered here, each with five trim levels. These will be Base, S, SE, HSE and First Edition. The Defender is being brought in as a CBU and will have notable features such as the 360 ​​degree Surround Camera, Wade Sensing, Electronic Air Suspension (Standard 110), Smartphone Package, Connected Navigation Pro, Off-Road Tires, off tires -road, Central Console with cooling compartment (optional), among other things.
