Well, it is not impossible in certain parts of the world. A nude couple got married in front of 40 nude guests and a nude officer recently.
Reports say Nigel Seymour, 59, and his now wife Rachel, 30, met on a nudist holiday three years ago and enjoyed a whirlwind romance before they became engaged after just six months.
Nigel, a car restorer, asked Rachel in front of 400 naked strangers during a trip.
The holiday was organized by British naturism – a society for people who prefer to live naked.
Rachel, a care assistant and her husband Nigel, decided that they would be married naked, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
"Our naked wedding made perfect sense, as it meant that I didn't have to spend a thousand pounds on a wedding dress.
“Getting married to your friends and family is still such a magical experience.
“It was really liberating.
“We met at the buff, Nigel proposed at the buff and we had a naked ceremony. He closed the chapter – Rachel is quoted as saying.
It is also reported that Rachel joked that all the guests had to take to their “fun” nude wedding, a towel and sunscreen, and nothing more.
Groom Nigel added: "The reaction we had from friends and family who did not attend the blessing was very great: & # 39; This is not for us, but you go on and tell us how it is going & # 39;"
"But we love every minute of it."
Although the couple and their friends had no problem taking part in the nude event, the other obstacle was finding an officer who would also agree to undress before doing his job.
They would have asked around and the person they found was not a naturist, but agreed to be naked for the occasion. It is not clear whether he was offered anything irresistible to agree to officiate at.
After the wedding, the couple went on a naked honeymoon in the largest naturist village in the world in France.
Rachel would have grown up with a naturist father named Harvey Allen, so being naked in public was no big deal for her.
Nigel, who only entered the naturist lifestyle nine years ago, at age 50, seems to have gotten used to it so fast and is enjoying it.
He said that no matter what race, size or career you have naked like "no one judges you".
He said: “What I liked was that you had no idea what people did on a daily basis – whether they were judges, doctors or police.
"Being naked only raises all levels."
Harvey Allen, Rachel's father, 74, was the photographer at her daughter's wedding.
According to the Daily Star, the couple decided to wear clothes at their legal ceremony.
