Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is the gift that keeps on giving. Five months after the players were treated to the final character of Fighter Pass Vol 1 – the iconic Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Nintendo is bringing another challenger from its vault of extraordinary characters to the long-awaited Fighter Pass Vol. 2, adding the current roster to a phenomenal 76 playable fighters
Vol. Fighter 2 promises six more new characters to make players rethink their current mode. Leading the position and the newest member of the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate list, is Min Min from Nintendo ARMS. If you haven't played Arms yet, you're definitely a unique fighter, reminiscent of the classic Punch-Out.
Each fighter competes in a 3D arena, making flashy moves using the characters' extensible arms. It is safe to say that Arms is one of Nintendo's most adventurous attempts to create a great boxing game and is definitely one of his on the Switch.
Ramen lover Min Min fits the SSBU list perfectly, but she doesn't play like a traditional character. Typically, character movements are divided between their Smash attacks and special moves. Crush attacks are traditionally physical movements using punches and kicks using button A, while special movements, such as fireballs or bombs, are performed using button B.
Min Min is special because her left and right arms are controlled by buttons A and B, respectively, it really makes her feel like she feels in ARMS. This is great because players can use their arms simultaneously, allowing her to hit one hit after another.
Min Min's arms are very versatile, allowing his back and forth punch to knock out multiple opponents, as well as being able to bend his arms up or down to get enemies who can try to dodge. It can move and jump while making tilt attacks, allowing players to chase their enemies.
Because From Nintendo control design exclusive to Min Min, it technically only has two special attacks that differ from the standard four. Like all Min Min characters have a special special, ARMS Jump, which allows Min Min to hit the ground with his fist to jump in the air, the height it reaches is determined by the time the player holds the buttons.
When knocked down, players can use this move to regain security. Min Min down special is ARMS Change allows her to switch her right arm in 3 different modes, Ramram, Megawatt and Dragon.
Each version of your right arm differs greatly and allows players to change their strategy quickly. Ramam is the standard arm, it is the fastest, but the weakest of the three. The main benefit of this arm is that it allows it to throw projectile weapons called chakrams, increasing its range. The Megawatt is the strongest, but slowest, arm that does heavy damage and is great for delivering the final blow, especially useful at Omega levels.
Finally, the dragon, Min Min already has a dragon on his left arm and it works the same way, if the attack button is pressed during a forward attack, the dragon will fire a laser. No Smash character would be complete without Final Smash and Min Min ARMS Rush inviting all of Arm's characters to spray the enemy in a beautifully crafted scene.
Min Min is a great character and I appreciate the depth that Nintendo has made to feel similar to the way she plays on ARMS, she will definitely change people's main character for her incredible reach, allowing her to stay away from those boring characters from accountant like Marth or Ike.
However, in hand-to-hand combat, your skills are easy to dodge, leaving you open to damage, while faster characters like Falcon, Meta Knight or Pikachu can easily take advantage. (I personally will not change Lucas – we have a lot of history – but she was very welcome on the list.)
Min Min's combat package also includes a new stage, Spring Stadium, which features some painful interactive elements that add to the chaos. Weapon fans will recognize the jumping platforms that will send you flying if you jump off them; you can damage your opponent if you come in contact after jumping off these platforms.
Players must also add the ceiling bows to their strategy, as enemies jump over them if launched upwards, allowing players to proceed with a devastating move if timed correctly.
This step is fantastic and will really keep players on alert, especially the jumping platforms in eight-player matches. Nintendo also included 18 high-speed tracks from the original game for extra fan service.
You'll also have new Mii Fighter outfits, which include Arms & # 39; Ninjara, Heihachi by Tekken Callie and Mari de Splatoon and Vault Boy from Fallout.
If that wasn't enough, players received a new patch, the Super Smash Bros Ultimate V8.0 update, which adds some settings for almost every character.
Mario's final blow increased power and attack range, and they even slowed everyone's movements down during Sonic Final smash. It is worth checking how your principal has been affected.
With one character missing and five more to go, Nintendo certainly offered a lot to players with the arrival of Min Min. It's safe to say that most people didn't expect it with the ARMS main character, Spring Man, who seems to be the obvious choice.
With the next character planned for this year, players can only hope that Viewtiful Joe, Rayman or even Lloyd, from Tales of Symphonia, will receive this highly sought-after invitation to the Smash Brothers Ultimate.
Min Min can be purchased as part of the Fighter Pass Vol. 2 packs for £ 26.99 or purchased separately for £ 4.99
