Police in the Okigwe local government area in Imo state arrested a man who broke the bones of his two children and tortured them for their mothers' sins.
The man allegedly kept his children in chains, broke one of the children's fingers with a hammer and spilled salt on the bloody wounds.
The incident, published by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Twitter, showed the man in a video, spilling pepper and salt on the wounds of the children, while crying outside a store.
"The assailant said he was doing this to punish children for & # 39; what their mother did & # 39;", tweeted the NHRC.
Police spokesman Orlando Okwukwu confirmed the incident, saying the man was arrested.
