INEC warns Nigerians about scam employment letters [ARTICLE]

The commission said in a statement on Saturday, May 30, 2020, that its attention was drawn to the circulation of alleged employment / appointment letters.

INEC described these letters as a scam and urged affected members of the public to report to security agencies.

"Members of the public are warned / warned that the commission has suspended its recruitment program after the COVID-19 pandemic" Said INEC.

The commission had announced last week that the coronavirus pandemic would not affect the elections scheduled to take place later this year.

In February 2020, INEC scheduled elections for the Edo government on September 19 and elections for the Ondo government on October 10.

There are also nine other pending elections scheduled to take place in different parts of the country.
