We have been thinking about compiling our phone lists for a while now, but we decided against it, because no one would receive their orders due to the blockade across the country. Now that the government has green signal delivery of smartphones at least in the green and orange zones, it is time to take action and suggest the best options for various budgets. We started with the best smartphones that you can buy under Rs 7,500 in India this month.

The best phones to buy under Rs 7,500 in India

Motorola Moto E6s

O Moto E6s (Review) is one of two phones on this list with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Therefore, if you want to open several applications at the same time, 4 GB of RAM will be useful. This phone is equipped with a modest SoC Mediatek Helio P22 Octa-core. It features a 6.1-inch HD + screen with a drop notch and a resolution of 1560×720 pixels, more than acceptable for this segment. Although it has a plastic back, the overall design looks modern and can pass like a higher priced phone.

You get dual 13 MP + 2 MP cameras at the rear that do a decent job with good lighting. There is an 8 MP camera on the front for selfies. The Moto E6s runs Android Pie with the Android user interface almost in stock. Its 3,000 mAh battery is slightly on the underside compared to most phones today, but it can last for a business day.

Lenovo K9 Note

The Lenovo K9 Note is the other phone with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage in this budget. It is powered by a little more powerful Snapdragon 450 SoC. This phone has a more classic 5.99-inch narrow frame HD + screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels, in case you don't like notches. You have a 16 MP + 2 MP dual camera system at the rear and an 8 MP front camera for selfies.

It has a 3,760 mAh battery that keeps the phone running for a day of moderate use. The only downside here is that the phone runs a slightly outdated Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with little hope for an Android Pie update. If you can live with that, the rest of the specs and features are pretty good for that budget.

Realme C3

Whether you are looking for a phone with a huge screen or a large battery, the Realme C3 is your phone in this budget. This stylish phone features a 6.5 inch (1560×720 pixels) HD + screen with a notch and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. The choice of chipset is also quite impressive for this segment, with a Mediatek Helio G70 at its heart. You have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage to accompany you. A combination of 12 MP + 2 MP at the rear and a modest 5 MP shooter at the front take care of the photography.

As I said earlier, the Realme C3 has a gigantic 5,000 mAh battery under the hood that can keep the phone running for more than a day and a half of moderate use comfortably. This is the most recent release among the phones on this list and runs the latest Android 10 operating system with Realme UI 1.0 at the top. The only thing missing here that all the other phones on this list have is a fingerprint scanner. The phone supports facial unlock.

Asus Zenfone Max M2

O Asus Zenfone Max M2 (Review) keeps its place on our list. It features a 6.26-inch HD + screen with a 1520×720 resolution and 2.5D glass on top. This phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, one of the most powerful options in that price support. You get 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that can be further extended up to 2 TB using a microSD card. The dual rear cameras of 13 MP + 2 MP do a good job in well-lit conditions and there is an 8 MP front camera for selfies.

It was released with Oreo 8.1 and the Android user interface, but Asus was kind enough to provide an Android Pie update for this phone in mid-2019. The current batch of this smartphone may have Android Pie ready for use. Otherwise, you can always update it. The Asus Zenfone Max M2 has a 4,000 mAh battery that is sufficient for more than a day of standard use without the need for a charger.

Nokia 5.1 Plus

I was pleasantly surprised to see the Nokia 5.1 Plus selling less than 7 thousand this month. If you are looking for a compact phone in the world of phones with increasing screen sizes, this is the perfect phone for you. You get a 5.8-inch HD + screen with 2.5D glass on top. Powered by a competent Mediatek Helio P60 chip, it provides more than enough power for this segment. You have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (expandable), which is the same for the course in this segment.

Its dual rear cameras of 13 MP + 5 MP are without a doubt the best of the lot and click on clear pictures in good lighting conditions. They do a decent job in low light too. Another important aspect of this device is that it is an Android One device. This means that you receive the Android user interface in stock and regular updates of the operating system and security for a period of two years from the launch. The phone currently runs Android Pie and you can expect an Android 10 update soon.

LG W30

O LG W30 (First impressions) maintains its place also due to its uniqueness. It is the only phone on this list that has triple rear cameras. You get a 12 MP main camera, a 13 MP wide-angle camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. You'll also have a 16 MP selfie camera on the front that will have selfie enthusiasts interested. Cameras do a good job for this price range. The phone is also well designed with a 6.26 inch (1520×720 pixels) HD + screen with a drop notch and an attractive back panel.

The phone is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 chip and comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (expandable). Like the Moto E6s, its 3,000 mAh battery can keep your phone on for an entire business day. The LG W30 runs Android Pie.
