It is one of the most popular video games at the moment and now Fortnite revealed the release date for Chapter 2, Season 2.
The new chapter will be released on February 20, along with the 11.50 update.
Epic Games, developer of the game, revealed the news on a new blog, along with a major change, in the form of a new physics engine.
He explained: "Starting with the release of the 11.50 update in early February, Fortnite will move to the Unreal Engine's Chaos physics system.
“At launch, the goal is to ensure that Fortnite still looks like Fortnite. Along the way, there will be some obstacles, so we are starting testing with a small group of players.
"We will also monitor comments closely and make improvements over time."
While more details about the new physics engine are unclear, Fortnite star Tyler & # 39; Ninja & # 39; Blevins says he could completely redefine Fortnite.
During a recent broadcast, Ninja said, "Man, this is going to change everything. I have so much speculation, I wonder, man.
"Has a game changed the mechanism it is connected to? I'm not talking about a sequence, I'm talking about a real game."
Ninja added that he thinks Epic Games could introduce some "drastic changes".
He concluded: “What if they remove the building? I'm serious, I think we can see some drastic changes. "
Unfortunately, it looks like Epic Games isn't revealing anything about the new physics engine or Chapter 2.
We'll have to wait and see if Ninja's "drastic" predictions are correct on February 20 …
