The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, registered 12 new cases of COVID-19 infections.
This development was confirmed in a tweet on Monday by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
Confirming the development, the FCTA in the Twitter post said; “Twelve new cases registered.
“Summary of # COVID19FCT at 1:12 am on May 4, 2020. Total number of confirmed cases: 278. Total number of active cases: 235. Total discharge: 40. Registered deaths: 3
“Residents are urged to take preventive measures seriously. #StaySafe, ”added the FCTA Twitter post.
This development occurred days after the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Command, on Tuesday threatened to close all car parks in the country's capital.
The command made the threat through its commissioner, Bala Ciroma, for the failure of park operators to obey the order.
