Facebook has made a number of changes to its desktop site, making it look more modern and trendy.
To start, the social media site has finally incorporated Dark Mode into its desktop version.
On laptops or desktops, it's the first thing Facebook asks when someone changes to the latest version of the social media site. In addition to incorporating dark mode, Facebook added similar guides to its mobile version and also revamped the shortcut bar.
The new Facebook has the Home, Watch and Market Place tabs at the top, while the option to switch to Dark Mode is in the drop-down menu at the top left of the screen.
The options at the top were seen above the shortcuts. The new look also features a dedicated Facebook game guide.
The Stories section was moved under Games, while the Create post box was moved down.
Talking to The Verge, a Facebook spokesman said people can choose to try the new design before it becomes standard in late 2020.
The new Facebook gives users easier access to pages and groups and allows them to see how they look on other platforms.
However, not all users have been informed about the new development, as the feature is still being implemented by the social media giant.
How to activate the new Facebook
