The federal government has asked the aviation sector to start developing protocols that will lead to the resumption of domestic flights from June 21.
National coordinator of the presidential task force at COVID-19, Sani Aliyu, said during a briefing on Monday, June 1, that “The aviation industry should start to develop protocols to allow the resumption of domestic flights from June 21.
“Airlines must ensure physical distance, reducing passenger capacity and ensuring the supply of sanitizers and personal protective equipment, in addition to conducting temperature checks at the point of entry and exit and ensuring that airports are not congested by travelers or airport employees. ”
