COVID-19 patient dies in Delta

One of the five new cases of coronavirus in the Delta died.


According to the state's graphical update, four of the new cases were recorded in Warri South, while the other, which reportedly died on Wednesday, was recorded in Asaba, LGA south of Oshimili, in the state.

To date, six patients have been discharged from the Delta and four deaths have been reported with active cases at age 12.

The state also inaugurated a 100-bed isolation center at the National Youth Service (NYSC) Youth Body Permanent Guidance Camp, Issele-Uku, North Aniocha LGA.


The feat was carried out in partnership with the private sector Coalition at COVID-19 (CACOVID), said the secretary of the State Government (SSG), Chiedu Ebie.

Note that a total of 22 cases have been confirmed in the state.
