The Supreme Federal Court, Abuja, on Monday dismissed the request by Natasha Akpoti, candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the November 16 governor election in Kogi, against Governor Yahaya Bello, for lack of legitimacy.
Judge Inyang Ekwo, who handed down the sentence, considered the alleged offense to be criminal and not a civil case that could be brought by an individual.
