Two suicide bombers linked to the boko haram sect attacked a mosque in Gwoza, Borno state, on Sunday, killing a 12-year-old child and leaving many people injured.
A security source who released this said the suicide bombers had entered the mosque while the prayer was underway.
The source said that before some people in the neighborhood set off the alarm, the attackers had already managed to enter the mosque.
The incident happened in Guduf Nagadiyo, Bulabaulin, Gwoza.
Soldiers from 192 battalions of the Nigerian army later isolated the mosque.
One resident said suicide bombers may have infiltrated the city during a wedding at the Emir's Palace in Gwoza on Saturday.
