Nollywood diva Beverly Naya has warned the media not to model women.
The award-winning actress stated this through her Twitter, saying that when interviews are conducted with female celebrities from this part of the world, the headlines are usually about their marital status.
"It's a shame that when a woman does an interview in this part of the world, the headline is almost always about her marital status or opinions about marriage," she tweeted.
"You will spend 30 minutes talking about your life, career and aspirations just to have & # 39; marriage & # 39; as a focus. Wow."
The dark-skinned actress followed with typical examples.
“The most common headlines used for women: & # 39; Why I chose not to get married & # 39; & # 39; Why am I not married yet & # 39; & # 39; The type of man I want to marry & # 39; & # 39; The right man did not find me & # 39; & # 39; I will get married when God says I should & # 39; & # 39; i will get married when the right man finds me & # 39; & # 39; & # 39; because I'm single & # 39; he added.
Her tweets, however, generated a lot of reactions when colleagues and fans stormed her comment section with messages, agreeing with the message the actress was giving.
