Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Thursday advised support groups in the state's All Progressive Congress (APC) to work together to achieve a common goal.
Akeredolu gave the advice to Akure during a courtesy visit from the Sunshine Integrity Movement, a group that spread the governor's interest by showing his achievements in the public domain and sending him answers.
He stressed the need for all groups to be consolidated in "Time Aketi" to succeed in their common goal of seeking their reelection.
He said: “There must be an Aketi team. All groups wishing for our success are part of the larger Aketi team.
“My advice to the Aketi team is that they should not direct others and say that the government is only for them.
“Many of us in this group have different backgrounds, but we are all here to work together. This is how it should be. "
The governor reiterated his government's commitment to ensure that every nook and cranny of the state witness unprecedented development.
He said there was no local government that had no contact with SUBEB schools, promising that the government would start another set by March.
Previously, the team leader, Prof. Olu Aboluwoye praised the governor for his commitment to the development of all parts of the state.
