Isa said the state was making progress in its efforts to contain the spread of the disease.
It is true that the state government discharged eight more patients with COVID-19 from the isolation center, after all had tested negative for the coronavirus twice.
This is in line with the protocol of the Nigeria Disease Control Center (NCDC).
"The government had discharged five, a total of 13 patients, and what we now have in the isolation center are eight patients" Said Isa.
He urged state residents to adhere to preventive measures that included social distance, constant hand washing and personal hygiene.
The Nigeria News Agency (NAN) reports that the government released five patients on May 11.
To date, the state has registered 21 positive cases in COVID-19.
