Mr Ball Away, The state police commissioner (CP) confirmed the release of the CAN president to journalists on Sunday in Lafia.
Far away said that four suspects were arrested in connection with the kidnapping and that an investigation is underway to arrest everyone involved.
He, however, denied knowledge of any ransom paid to secure the release of the CAN president.
The PC added that all suspects will be prosecuted in court for legal action once the investigation is completed.
Corroborating the release, Pastor Sam Joseph, son of the CAN president, told reporters that his father regained his freedom around 11:45 pm. on Saturday around the village of Lizhi, in the Nasarawa-Eggon local government area of the state.
He said the bishop, however, arrived at the Bukan-sidi residence in Lafia at around 2 pm on Sunday and was taken for medical examination at an undisclosed hospital.
The Nigeria News Agency (NAN) recalls that the state CAN president, who is also a bishop and general superintendent of the world evangelical city of God's world, was kidnapped by gunmen from his Lafia residence on May 28 and taken away although on a motorcycle according to the family source.
The kidnappers contacted the family and demanded a ransom of N20 million for their release.
