No less than 30 people were reportedly killed by the armed Fulani militia in an attack on the communities of Chibuak and Kigudu 11 in the local government area of Kauru, in the state of Kaduna.
The armed Fulani militia reportedly attacked the Communities consecutively on Thursday and Friday at midnight, while some residents disappeared during the invasion.
A security officer who claimed anonymity told LEADERSHIP that, on Saturday night, no fewer than 30 people were confirmed dead.
In another development, a statement signed by Father Chatholic of Damakasuwa, Rev. Fr. Aaron Tanko, said that the armed Fulani militia defeated even in the presence of security officers when they were conducting a mass burial of no less than 24 victims who were initially announced.
According to the chatholic priest, the attack that killed the victims of the mass burial took place on the fourth night and in the early hours of Saturday.
